For anyone familiar with the Salomon performance lineage, the name Speedcross no doubt rings a bell. One of the most successful sneakers in the brand's history, the Speedcross was born as a trail show for race day but became a cultural hit away from the racecourse. The problem with the lightweight soft ground shoe is that it wasn't exactly optimised for casual wear, often resulting in fast degradation.
Salomon approaches a new era by taking the bones of the Speedcross family and infusing it with contemporary design language. The result is what you see here, the Speedverse PRG. With a knitted 3D Mesh upper and sleek fused overlays accented with leather. The EVA midsole is wrapped in a Contagrip® outsole that features an aggressive mud tread that mirrors the iconic outsole of the Speedcross.
The Speedverse PRG offers a modern update to a classic Salomon silhouette, which is ready for the needs of the urban environment.
