DescriptionPottery wheel is our most popular program! Each student has their own wheel, and classes are small, hands on and personal. What makes learning the pottery wheel at JB Arts special is our custom made two-seater pottery training wheel! The teacher sits on one side and the student sits on the other giving them hands-on one-on-one guidance to fast-track their learning and make great pottery sooner. Students will learn to center their pieces, and how to shape the clay by feel for best results. This course is 9 weeks, including 6 wheel classes and 3 glazing classes. You can expect to make about 20 ready to use vessels. You will get dirty. We highly recommend you trim fingernails short, tie back long hair, wear closed toe shoes and no hanging drawstrings. * NO CLASSES the week of March 10-14, 2025. |
